Back after a long time trying to get my knee better... I've only done one marathon so I'm still new but I hope to make it into the Chicago marathon this October. I hope the discussions on this blog will help me train better to get a Boston qualifying time! For me, that will be a 3:35.

As I go along...I'm wondering if I should be aiming to get my longer distance "comfortable" pace close to 7:30 if I hope to run a 3:35 marathon in the fall? If so, is the best way of doing that to simply try to get my body used to running at that pace and then gradually add mileage? Thanks for any insights!
